TODAY:  Stop Critical Race Theory in Our Schools

The proposed Social Studies curricula changes have raised serious concerns across the state. They includes progressive and biased teachings, and there’s great concern that Critical Race Theory (CRT) will become a staple in public education classrooms. Critical Race Theory, and the training to implement it, is a radical ideology that promotes racism by focusing on race as the key to understanding society, and objectifies people based on race. CRT advocates have been pushing for progressive changes in school curriculums, and the changes proposed by the NM Public Education Department (NMPED) will weave in socialism, racism, extreme environmentalism, and globalism, and force instructors to embed these views into their class material.

This is another case of Gov. Grisham Administration trying to control our lives with its progressive agenda. The NMPED’s motives are clear. The Education leaders want to force these radical ideas to be taught in our classrooms. This authoritarian attitude cannot be tolerated. Citizens, (especially parents and educators) are encouraged to take action by contacting the NMPED in the following ways to oppose these updates:
